Get Your Fix in C-Y: Raise the Bar for Public Bicycle Repair Stands

What if any member of the public had free, 24-hour access to the tools and step-by-step instructions to fix most minor bicycle issues right off their path? The Cooper-Young community is stepping up to find out.

Come raise your glass with special guest Nick Oyler, the City of Memphis' new Bikeway and Pedestrian Program Manager; Bike Walk Memphis; Memphis Made; and the many friends of the C-Y community to celebrate the kickoff of this ioby fundraising campaign to install public bicycle repair stands in the neighborhood: https://www.ioby.org/project/cooper-young-public-bicycle-repair-stands

Don't miss this opportunity to learn more about the City of Memphis' "Request a Rack" program (read: FREE bike racks for you, dear Memphian), administered in partnership with Bike Walk Memphis.

Thank you to Memphis Made Brewing Company for generously donating use of their patio, great enthusiasm, and a portion of beer sales from the event to fund the stands.

This neighbor-led project has partners in the Cooper Young Community Association, Cooper Young Business Association, Revolutions Bicycle Co-op, VOQAL, and Memphis Hardcourt Bike Polo.
